VILLA CHIAROSCURO - Lindos

This Villa is owned by an Italian painter. One of the largest Villas in Lindos it retains many of the older and traditional features. The villa, located very centrally and behind a high wall, sleeps up to ten people. There is a master bedroom [1] with double and single mattresses on a panga (Lindian sleeping platform) with an astonishing, antique, hand carved cupboard [2]. This connects to another twin room. Across an enclosed, upper veranda [3], the Tower room [4] has twin singles and there is a platform above the dining room which could sleep one or two.  There is also a small bedroom off the outdoor breakfast area. There is one main bathroom area [5] and two showers.

As the Villa is a Captain's House it boasts a large, high ceiling Sala with syrian arch [6}.
The dining area has an old oven at one end [7] and attractive wood panelling at the other [8].
Off the dining room and opening onto the outdoor breakfast area is the kitchen [9].
